Cantus
Cantus is a small vocal consort designed to challenge classical singers. It is auditioned, but this is purely for practical purposes to keep the size down! The Focus will be on how well the group sings together as an ensemble, and it is desirable (though not essential) that singers are able to sight-read. Our repertoire ranges from classical to contemporary chamber music, and folk songs to Taverner. We sing in a wide range of settings, including busking carols around the Christmas market, and in historical churches around the city.
