Welfare & Inclusivity

As a Volleyball Club we are committed to creating an open, diverse and inclusive environment and work extremely hard to ensure our Club remains supportive. Our amazing Welfare and Inclusivity Officer is always here to help, and will be regularly running casual virtual meet-ups to encourage open and safe conversations.

Have a look at some of our wellbeing and support resources and our inclusive offers below!

Wellbeing & Support Services Guide

To make sure all our members and other non-members are aware of all the resources they have available to them, our Welfare & Inclusivity Officer has created an all inclusive Wellbeing and Support services Guide. Inside, you will find a wealth of resources, ranging from the SU’s own advice and support centre, to links and phone numbers for a range of helplines that deal with issues such as depression, anxiety, and many more. This document also outlines how the different services have been affected by covid and makes it easy to know where to get help. Feel free to have a look through the guide and familiarize yourself with all the support tools available to you, for confidential, non-judgemental and anonymous (if you would prefer) support.

Although the Volleyball Committee are not mental health experts, sometimes just having someone to talk to can go a long way, so if you feel like you need or want to have a confidential and non-judgemental chat or a quick call with someone, please feel free to reach out to anyone on the committee, we would love to have a chat with you!

Sitting Volleyball

We're excited to announce we have weekly sitting volleyball sessions! Sitting volleyball is a fun and challenging Paralympic sport that provides a workout in addition to volleyball skills development.  We will provide you with great coaches and a welcoming, competitive atmosphere.
