Charity Events

Each year we host charitable events and participate in a multidue of different fundraisers.

This year (2022) we introduced a brand new event to our arsenal in order to raise proceeds for our long-term partner - Armed Forces Para-Snowsport Team (AFPST).

For several years Bath Snowsports have helped to raise funds towards the Armed Forces Para-Snowsports Team (AFPST), hosting events such as the 24 hour ski at Gloucester Dryslope:

24 hour ski event

We have successfully raised over £5000 for the Armed Forces Para Snowsports Team (AFPST) by organising a 24 hour skiing event at our home piste, Mount Gloucester! Last year, we made this event even bigger by collaborating with Wasteland and other universities such as Exeter and Bristol!

Last year, we hosted a day-long event to fundraise for this fantastic charity and their support of wounded, injured and sick military personnel and veterans through the power of para-snowsports. On Saturday 9th April, we invited everyone to run as far as possible in an attempt to collectively cover the distance between the University of Bath and Midlothian Snowsports Centre in Edinburgh! Annually, we participate in racing, freestyle and après at the weekend-long BUDS ski event at this centre 615km (382 miles) away from Bath. To help out with covering the required distance between us, we hosted two group runs on the day – one on campus, one in town.
