P.U.M.A. Kickboxing - is one of the best ways to enjoy a high energy, calorie burning, stress busting martial arts class. Our aim is to teach Kickboxing in a safe, fun and exciting way. Our classes give both a great aerobic and anaerobic workout and will also develop speed, flexibility, strength and co-ordination.

Improve your fitness and flexibility - With PUMA kickboxing you've found the perfect vehicle to test and improve your fitness. Our Instructors will guide you as to the best way to achieve your goals. The classes are normally 2 hours in duration and include pad drills, fitness, sparring and self defence. PUMA has a grading system, so if you wish to progress through the grades, our instructors will help you to achieve your dreams.
Boost your confidence - One of the most popular comments we get from our students is not only how much more confident they feel, but how much healthier they feel. This is due to the fitness training which is part of the class and can also help if students are looking to loose or control their weight.
Learn simple and effective self defence - The self defence techniques that are practised in our classes are designed to work in our ever increasing violent society, you will not find a 60 kilo female trying to put a 95 kilo male into an elaborate wrist lock, it's simply not going to work.
The techniques taught are both easy to remember and simple to use if ever needed. Hopefully with a good understanding of awareness these skills will never be called upon.
Excellent stress relief - Imagine, you've had a bad day at work, you need something to relieve the pressure and get rid off those negatives running through your head. Come to the class, put the gloves on and hit the pads. 'There's nothing better'.
Safe and friendly classes - All instructors are committed to teaching in a safe environment. You're never asked to do something that you're not happy with. The sparring is well controlled with both students wearing protection on the vulnerable parts of the body.
Our training times:
Tuesdays (Advanced and Beginners) 6.15-8pm at STV dojo,
Fridays (Advanced and Beginners) 8-10pm at STV netball court,
Sundays (Advanced) 4-6pm at STV (dojo or netball court)
