The University of Bath Student Union is proud to introduce BUMUN: Bath University Model United Nations Society.
BUMUN members get to attend Model United Nations conferences in the UK and around the world, and at these conferences they debate global issues of utmost significance. The aim is to bring solutions to some of the world’s most eminent problems, just like the real United Nations does.

But who can join BUMUN? BUMUN is open to everyone! University of Bath students interested in world problems and anxious to share their points of view with others and to listen to other arguments from other nations and cultures should most definately give it a try! You don't have to study Politics or any Social Science to join, this is an opportunity for BBAs, Mathematicians, Biochemists, Engineers etc. to share their thoughts and help develop solutions.
Through BUMUN, you can develop your critical thinking, debating and teamworking skills, and get better at public speaking! All these are core skill sets all of us need and indeed employers look for, and MUN looks excellent on the CV when it's time to look for jobs!
