Bath University Natural Sciences Society

“Natural Sciences? Real Science for Real Life.”

Being a NatSci student is all about having a variety of different interests and wanting to try new things. Our society welcomes everyone (not just NatSci undergrads!) and aims to provide you with the opportunity to meet people from lots of different departments. Also, you may find meeting people from different years within the course will help you with future decisions about your options and so on.

We’ve got loads of trips & socials lined up for this year, giving you the chance to get to know people from all over the university.

We will be running a Jesters trip at some point, this is a trip which only BUNS tends to offer which is that of a trip to the Bristol comedy club - 'Jesters'. This has been running succesfully for several years now as a BUNS and we always receive really positive feedback about it, so be sure to get tickets for the trip when their posted up.

See the Jesters page for more info.

We anticipate seveal Joint Socials with different societies, in past very succesful Science and Maths socials have been run the Bristol Club Oceana.

On a more sciency note, events such the Ravens Café are encouraged, where Scientists can get a beer in a pub while listening to some (usually controversial and contemporary) scientific issues.
