The SU

Goodbye to our 22/23 SU Officers!

Goodbye to our 22/23 SU Officers!

Today marks the final day of our 22/23 Officers time with the SU!

The Officers are fundamental to everything we do and achieve as an SU, so let’s take a look back at some notable highlights across the year! Have a read of our End of Year blog post or watch the video, featuring a poem written and performed by one of our very talented Art Scholars, Elena Chamberlain.

Being an SU officer is an ever changing, crucial role within the Students’ Union. Officers are given the opportunity to make the role completely their own, and we are always blown away by everything they are able to achieve in such a short time. Being an Officer is a truly unique position that provides the opportunity to gain skills and experiences that it would be impossible to get anywhere else! We are always sad to see the current team leave, but are very excited for the new officers to get started.

We wanted to say one last, big thank you to Alexander, Elizabeth, Blake, Julia and Viktor for all their hard work this past year! We wish you every luck in all your future ventures and can’t see wait to see what you get up to next. Excitingly, Jura is staying on as Post Graduate Officer for the 23/24 academic year- we look forward to working with you again Jura.

On Monday we will be formally welcoming our new set of SU Officers- President Jimena, Community Officer Hanna, Activities Officer David, Education Office Amber, Postgraduate Officer Jura and Sport Officer Abbie. We are really looking forward to getting to know the new team and can’t wait to see everything they achieve this coming year!
