The skills and experiences gained alongside your academic studies are being recognised and valued more and more by employers. There are now more graduates than ever before so employers are placing more emphasis on recruiting graduates who not only have a degree, but who are also equipped with key transferable skills and have a desire to learn more and improve their capabilities during their time at university. The Bath Award is open to both undergraduates and postgraduates, it appears on your DEGREE TRANSCRIPT, and enrolment is FREE!

The University of Bath Students’ Union is an accredited “Investing in Volunteers” organisation and as a result has developed the Volunteer Recognition Scheme to recognise and reward our student leaders and volunteers for their dedication and commitment.
Whether you are the Chair of a student group, an activity leader or local community volunteer, the Volunteer Recognition Scheme aims to ensure you receive appropriate recognition, development and reward. The scheme is set at three levels Gold, Silver and Bronze, so no matter to what degree you are involved there is a level of recognition to reflect your commitment and of course a package of rewards too!
