"Welcome to the Students’ Union Reception..."


 
Located at Level 2, room 1 of Norwood House, we are one of the first places you will see (in big blue letters) as you approach the parade from the Bus Stop.

If ever in doubt of our location just head for the Munchies Café and you will find us opposite, next to the launderette. Reception is maintained Monday - Friday, 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m, by our Reception Staff, ever smiling and always happy to help.

During term-time you may also see members of student staff working part time to assist with daily duties.

The Reception has two main roles within the Union



Firstly we are here to provide information, help, suggestions, NUS Cards, directions, phone numbers, copies of the constitution, faxing, duplicating and much more to Students and visitors.

Our second role is that of Staff Support. Keeping track of all the staff, putting calls through to the various offices, sorting mail, maintaining the copiers, ordering central stationery, recharging resources back to the individual departments and processing tasks for individual members of staff.

The atmosphere is friendly and we will do our very best to answer any queries you may have, and will always, at the very least, point you in the right direction!
