Got a great idea for a project? Want to start up your own volunteering scheme? Then Junction 49 is for you!
http://www.junction49.co.uk/university/partner56.html Junction 49 is a new initiative set up by the national volunteering charity ‘TimeBank’ that provides support and funding to allow you to set up your own community project. Whether you want to run a one-off community project or a project that spans several months then Junction 49 can help you plan, lead and fund your project. You will receive full support, from the initial planning stages right through to evaluating the success of the project.
Your project can be anything you feel passionately about…for example taking your sport into a youth club, developing art in schools or running a drama workshop for the elderly
Each project is eligible for a financial award of up to £750 to fund the setting up and running costs of your project. You might need new equipment for your society or need money for transport, Junction 49 can help with these costs.
We’ve already had some projects coming through, and we’ve got some great ones to come. Have a look on the Junction 49 website to find out what’s happening in Bath. Read the blog, look at the photos and chat with other people doing projects.
We’ve got a dedicated member of staff for Junction 49, so if you want to chat about anything on the pages or have an idea that you’d like to pursue then contact Sabrina on
