Hey everyone! I'm really excited to introduce myself as your new Community Officer. I'm Hanna and I come all the way from Hungary. I just finished my degree in International Management with German, and I can't wait to work with all of you to make our university experience even better.
One of my main goals as the Community Officer is to make sure our international students feel like they belong here. I know it can be tough to adjust to a new culture and surroundings, so I want to create a friendly and inclusive environment where everyone feels supported and can thrive both academically and socially.
But that's not all. I also know that living costs can be a real struggle for many students. So, I'll be looking for ways to help tackle this issue and find practical solutions to make university more affordable. Let's make sure our financial situations don't hold us back from achieving our dreams!
Before taking on this role, I used to work at the SU Bar, where I had a great time hanging out with fellow students. When I'm not busy with my responsibilities, you can usually find me playing squash or going for a run to keep myself energized.
