The Sports Association has 49 different clubs for students to join from American Football to Waterpolo. Boxing and Handball are new clubs set up for 2008/2009. There is something for everyone, so why not get involved?
Coaching and Training are available for the majority of sports, along with participating in World Class Facilities in the Sports Training Village. Many of our facilities have entirely free access!
The SA has re-structured the way club memberships work. Following proposals brought to the SA Annual General Meeting in May, Sports Club Committee Members voted overwhelmingly for the introduction of a Sports Association membership. |

To access sports clubs at the University of Bath you need to purchase a membership to the Sports Association which is £10 you will then have access to join any of our clubs, which each have their own individual membership fee.
Membership of the Sports Association also provides you with access to the Recreational Club, where you can hire sporting equipment such as tennis rackets, footballs, cricket bats etc as well as tents and wetsuits.
The best way to become a member of the Sports Association and any of its clubs is to join online through the specific clubs page with a credit or debit card. Note that you will have to have a Sports Association Membership in your basket before adding any club memberships. If you would like a Sports Association Card, which allows you to hire equipment, please tick Y on the submit button, once in your basket. (If you already have a 2007/2008 this has now expired, so you will need a new one for 2008/2009). You can pick your membership packs up every thursday and Friday between 3-4:45pm from the Activities Office.
Not sure which sport you'd like to try out - check the Clubs pages and see what offer you to make a more informed decision.
