University of Bath Athletics Club!!!
We are a friendly and varied club which has enjoyed great success over the years. The 2008 season saw some fantastic results for the club, who for the first time, took both men’s and women’s titles at the BUSA Indoor Championships (now BUCS), before following this up with eight outdoor medals. These achievements are largely down to our excellent coaching team, dedicated to ensuring athlete development at all levels, and across the whole spectrum of track and field events. Training takes place in the superb STV facility, where groups catering for keen students through to GB internationals, make use of the outdoor track, indoor sprint straight, throws and jumps hall and gym. This summer’s Olympians and Paralympians included current students Craig Pickering and Ben Rushgrove, along with graduates Marilyn Okoro and Dale Garland! Whether you are a junior international aspiring to follow in their footsteps, or a newcomer inspired by Beijing, you will be most welcome at the track!
