Join Bath Uni Wakeboarders and become a member of one of the most enjoyable, exciting and sociable clubs at the University!

The Wakeboard Club caters for all levels of rider, whether you're a seasoned veteran or you've never set foot in a boat!  We run trips twice weekly throughout most of the Uni term at wakeboard parks in Thorpe and Cirencester at a fraction of their normal prices.  We also organise an awesome holiday to Spain during the Easter break and attend the Wakestock festival in July.  On top of all the boarding we also enjoy a good time out and run countless socials during the year!

Trips & Prices:

On most Sundays we travel to JB Waterski at Thorpe.  Their cable prices are as follows:

One off joining fee £25 (lasts the whole year)

£7 to ride for the day

 Their usual price for a day's riding is £43!

On most Wednesdays we travel to WM Ski at Cirencester. Their cable prices are as follows:

No joining fee

£20 to ride for the day
 Their usual price for a day's riding is £45!

Every few weeks we also organise boat trips at JB Waterski. Prices for these trips vary, but are similar to cable prices.

As you can see, joining the club provides you with a very reasonable discount over normal prices, there is simply no better way to learn or improve at wakeboarding!

The Holiday:

In the Easter break we run our annual holiday to Xtreme-Gene in the south of Spain.  Xtreme-Gene is home to world class coaches and you will be guarenteed to improve your riding greatly over the week long trip.  The holiday also provides a great social experience for those who attend and a chance to board in sunnier climates!!

The Equipment:

We've built up a large inventory over the years to cater for all our activities so you won't have to pay to rent anything. The equipment is kept up to date so you won't find yourself riding some wonder board from the 80s! All you need is a wetsuit (and you can get that free using your SA membership!).

      

The Socials:

We run regular socials each term to keep everyone in contact with their friends in the club. We've also got strong links with the other board riding clubs; so from time to time join forces for a giant social!  We also head to the pub after our weekly trips and head to score on Wednesdays, as well as holding our annual pre Snow Ball meal in December.
