What We Do
The Volleyball Club welcomes players of all levels!
Recreational: Never played before? No problem! We partner with Volleyball England to provide one of the top recreational offers in the country! Whether you want to play for fun, fitness, or kickstart your volleyball career, our recreational sessions are just for you! Our development squads (Women's 3rd and Men's 3rd teams) can give you competitive experience in the Bristol league, guaranteeing a solid development path towards our performance teams!
Performance teams: For you big-hitters, roof-blockers and magic-handed setters, we have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Women's and Men's teams. We compete in BUCS and the Bristol League. Our competitive offer provides team and position-specific training, Strength & Conditioning fitness sessions and a supportive high-performance environment.
Beach Volleyball: Bath is one of the few universities in the country with beach volleyball courts! In the past, these courts have even been home to team GB! Aside from being the perfect procrastination from summer exams, our Beach Volleyball offer provides you with on court training to develop all the beach volley skills you need, whether you're a veteran of the sport or a newbie. We even attend the UK beach tour and other tournaments so you can put your skills to the test. Get ready to tan or burn and find sand in unexpected places!
Sitting volleyball: Sitting volleyball is one of the most popular Paralympic sports and with good reason! We run fun-packed competitive and regular recreational sessions for everyone to get involved in!
Socials: We are proud to regularly host some of the most varied, inclusive and fun socials around! Expect unforgettable nights out with fun themes, game nights, and killin' the karaoke as well as trampolining, bowling and cocktail parties - you won't want to miss out!
Beach Volleyball Tour: A week of sun, sand, great company, and unforgettable nights? Come join us for a sunny holiday in Portugal with lots of beach volleyball!
Coaching: Our coaching mentorship scheme enables you to become a team coach! Giving you coaching qualifications, coaching stash (everyone loves a bit of merch!) and extra skills to show off on your CV, as well as hours towards the Volunteer awards!
Committee: It's never too late to get involved with the club and make a difference - if you're interested in joining our media team or want to get involved in any other way and share your great ideas, just give us a shout!!

Our amazing Welfare and inclusivity officer is always here to help and will be regularly running casual meet-ups to encourage open and safe conversations.
