Welcome to the Bath University Table Top Society page (affectionately, and utterly maturely, known as BUTTS). We are a society founded in 2008, dedicated to tabletop gaming, primarily roleplaying, wargaming, and German-style boardgames. If you don't know what any of these are, don't worry! We have plenty of people who can help you learn, and perhaps you too can bring something to our fledgling society!
 
Weekly roleplaying sessions are run on Mondays and Thursdays. These start at 6:15 and go on until people want to stop, usually around 11pm. If you can't get to both sessions, that's fine! These tend to be campaign sessions in the middle of term, and lean towards one-shots at the beginning and end of the term.

Weekly on a Wednesday we play board games, usually followed by a trip to a pub so that we can get to know each other better when we aren't playing games. These frequently have some mini-games involved anyway, but there you go. And if you don't drink don't worry! We run honest-to-God socials about socialising, not about getting drunk.

On select weekends, we also run wargames sessions, usually prefaced by a modelling/painting/terrain-building session on the Friday evening, with wargames and/or just general gaming on either or both of Saturday and Sunday. 

Unfortunately, due to the way room bookings work at the university, the locations of any and all of these events are to be confirmed, but we'll let you know as soon as possible!

If you have any questions, queries or concerns about anything that we do, are running, are planning on running, or basically anything at all, we have a fantastic (awesome, wonderful, ok people are staring at me now) committee. We also have a forum, available here, where you can introduce yourself to current members, or chat about life, the universe and everything (although strangely games are our specialty).
