Getting Started

Getting admin rights

Before you can begin to make changes to your web pages, you need to ensure that you have admin rights. The executive members of each club and society are entitled to website admin rights. Executive members include: Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary etc.

Once you have been appointed to an executive position, the quickest and easiest way to get admin rights is to ask somebody currently no the committee to enable them for you. Any exec member can enable rights for any other club member,so this is the best way to do it. If you can't get hold of anyone currently on the committee, then email the Web Co-ordinator or your VP Communications and they will arrange website admin rights for you. You are also welcome to come to the Marketing Office, 3rd Floor, Norwood House and introduce yourself in person.

Once one of your executive members has been given website admin rights, you can then create new executive positions yourself on the website by clicking on Groups in Organisation Admin.
