Knitsoc is a society of knitters and crocheters who meet regularly during the week to work on their projects, learn new skills and associate with like-minded people in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
We don't just knit; all forms of needlework and wool-based activity are welcome. You certainly don't need to know how to knit- we can teach you that!
Every year we hold a series of workshops for all levels, from beginner to advanced, in knitting and crochet, which are open to anyone and subsidised for members. Alternatively, feel free to turn up to one of the weekly meetings where you'll be certain to find someone willing to show you how it's done, as well as others of your standard, whatever that may be.
We look forward to seeing you on Mondays 5-7 in Level 1, bring your projects with you!
Come and see that knitting isn't just for little old ladies!
