Welcome to the home of Bath University Music Production Society
Producers - Composers - Musicians - DJs
This is a society for people who create recorded music in any form.
Throughout the year free* workshops and sessions will be run on:
• Training for absolute beginners in making music from scratch with a computer
• Recording university bands live using our own multi-channel hard disk recorder
• Training on the society hard disc recorder for live and studio recording
• Synthesizers; how to make some really cool sounds, or even make your own synth!
• Editing music tracks for BodySoc.
• Creating music for BUST
• Web-based music creation challenges and collaboration sessions
This year we are looking to work with bands and university music groups to create high-quality records, as well as expanding the collaboration opportunities with other societies and resources for individual composers.
Sessions will mainly be run on tuesdays and thursdays this year, and will be organised on a 'when people are free' basis. If you want a session on a particular production related topic then email the society and a session will be organised for you.
Join us to enrich your music making, or help others with theirs!
You can also hear some of our work at our blog, www.nomoon.co.uk or as part of BUMPS hour on URB
* all workshops and sessions are free to members, but may be free to non members also.
