This is a compulsory training session for all new committee members for the academic year 2009/10. This session will be an introduction to running a society, and give a chance for you to meet the Activities staff who are available to help and support you and your society.

Marketing and publicity training

SU Marketing will be taking a lead in this session explaining both what they do, and how you can market and publicise your society more effectively.

Finance training

Important financial training will be given by SU Finance to include an overview of how to manage your account, how to order and pay for trips, equipment etc, and taking into consideration VAT and other legal requirements, how to complete financial forms and claims and how to maximise your society's potential with online purchases and products.
