Completing Your PhD (POSTPONED)
Margarida Dolan, Friday 19 October 1.15 - 4.15 pm (POSTPONED)
By the time you are looking at completing your PhD, you might feel exhausted and lacking motivation. Spending time regretting what you may perceive as pointless time-wasting digressions from your initial aims leads to more guilt and further wastes of time. The anticipated learning outcomes of this course include that you will be able to: reflect on what you have achieved so far and what you have left to do; select an appropriate structure for your thesis, identify strategies to write up, to manage results and read references selectively; discuss assessment criteria; discuss the steps of the thesis submitting process and the context of the viva.
