Academic Issues

The PGA is committed to ensuring that the quality of teaching, supervision, facilities and resources for postgraduate study is consistently high, and works with the University to see that the provision of postgraduate study serves the best interests of taught and research students.

Quality Assurance Codes of Practice

These are University of Bath regulations which set out the minimum standards expected in all areas of study provision (including postgraduate study), and the principles and procedures which it must conform to.

QA7: Research Degrees

Covers how postgraduate research study provision will be undertaken at the University of Bath, including the main stages of higher degrees by research.

QA11: Examination of Research Degrees

Includes thesis submission and viva voce examination.
