• Welcome from Ann Howell, VP Activities & Development

  Hi guys!
  
  I’m Ann – Vice President Activities and Development here in the Student’s Union! My role is to oversee the running of all of the SU’s Arts, Society and Volunteering activities and events as well as help with SORTED (Training Sessions), Joblink and the Bath Award! I am aiming this year to increase the number of Postgraduate Students that get involved with all these activities.
  
  Having a PhD is fantastic but it is also important to gain other skills along the way such as teamwork, communication, problem solving and organisation! Managing your PhD’s alongside a variety of extra-curricular activities is fantastic for your employability and job prospects; which is why I want to get more of you involved!
  
  Throughout the year we are hoping to run taster sessions and events specifically for Postgrads! I will also be attending various Postgrad Coffee Sessions throughout the year to come and say hi! If you have any questions or have any questions just drop me an email suactivities@bath.ac.uk!
