Access Group

ACCESS is a student-run group for students with any sort of disability, medical condition or learning difficulty - or with an interest in learning more about them!

So, what does ACCESS do?

ACCESS offers support for students with a disability, health condition or learning difficulty. Support is available either through email - access@bath.ac.uk - or through drop ins at the AWARE centre, SU corridor (first Thursday of every month from 6-7pm) and through ACCESS socials which give students the chance to gain support from other people.

ACCESS also campaigns and raises awareness of disability within the university and amongst students working with AWARE and other student groups. We offer advice to students who want to ask questions about disability and are starting to run courses on disability awareness, for instance in BSL signing.

We aim to be a contact point for any student with a "disability related" question and ro procide support students with disabilities, medical conditions and learning support needs: access@bath.ac.uk

All of the Union's Student Groups have a Representative, who is here to take forward your views to help improve things in the Union and University.  The easiest way to contact your ACCESS rep. is via the AWARE Centre, or by emailing access@bath.ac.uk

If you want to meet people who are in a similar situation, either for support or to exchange information and experiences, then ACCESS may be what you are looking for. Why not come along to one of our social events and find out?
