Welcome to the Recreational Club - a special club within the Sports Association. Once you are an SA member you can subscribe to the Rec Club for no extra cost - just by clicking the Add to Basket button on this page. Once you are a subscriber you can hire anything we supply from tennis rackets to wetsuits.

Short Loan Items


To take out short loan items all you have to do is take your SA membership card to the Founder's Sports Hall, STV or SA Office.

 

Squash and badminton rackets and basketballs available from Founder's. Tennis and badminton rackets, netballs and astro footballs available from the STV. All other short-term equipment available from the SA Office. You can then borrow the equipment you need for your game!

Long Term Items

 

Long term items that you can hire out from the Sports Association include tents and wetsuits. In order to reserve long term items you need to be a member of the Sports Association and to deposit your SA card with the SA Office.

You will also need to fill out the Equipment Loan Form in the Sports Association Office. Alternatively, you can email your requirements to susarec@bath.ac.uk.

 

Please ensure you follow these rules before hiring out long term items:

 

Recreational Club Rules


1. An Equipment Loan form must be completed stating what the individual wants to borrow and the dates that the individual wants to borrow the equipment.

 

2. Long Term loan items can only be collected on Tuesdays and Fridays, between 12-2pm.

3. Forms must be completed by 5pm Monday for collection on Tuesdays and 5pm Thursday for collection on Fridays.

4. The equipment is loaned on a first come first served basis.

5. ALL equipment must be returned by 11am Tuesday if collected on a Friday or 11am Friday if collected on a Tuesday, unless a longer period has been requested and approved by the SA. A £5 fine per day is charged for late returns.

6. Equipment should be returned clean and dry and wetsuits must not be inside-out or a £5 fine will be applied

 

7. Equipment should be returned directly to the SA Office during office hours. If it is left outside the individual will be held responsible and fined.
