We are having our next meal on Friday, October 10, 2008 from 5-7 at Chaplaincy, who are kindly lending us their Kitchen.
Next Social: Oct 8th (THIS WEDS!) Joint social with the 'People and Planet' society; The Porter for food then Moles for Battle of the Bands.
Last Social: End of the Year Meal: Cafe Kino, Bristol on May 23, 2008
We are a group of vegetarians, vegans, and anyone else who just wants to come along. We have lots planned for next year so make sure you join. Every week we plan to get together and take it in turns to cook a meal for the group. These meals are a great way to get at least one good, nutritious, tasty (and free!) meal a week without even having to cook. It's also a great way to meet up with lots of other fellow vegetarians. Another good thing is that you can come every week if you want and you can come once a month if you want, it is entirely up to you.
We also have regular social meals at various vegetarian restaurants around the city (or restaurants with expansive vegetarian options).
We recommend that all incoming vegetarian/vegan first years say so on their application forms for halls of residence. It's very handy to have another vegetarian around. Plus, you have someone to go to Vegetarian Society with.
