Floorball
is an indoor sport based on ice hockey, without the ice (good for those
who can't skate!) It is played with composite or carbon sticks with plastic blades, and a light plastic ball. There is almost no
physical contact, making it an ideal team sport for everybody to enjoy.
Fast play, teamwork, dedication and friendship are synonymous with the
sport
of floorball. A floorball team is made
up of 5 outfield players and 1 goalkeeper, plus loads of subs. A full squad can be up to 21 players.

“Floorball is all about the banter!” –
Ali ‘Focus’ Ford, Chairman 07/08
The Floorball club at Bath is a friendly environment where anyone is
welcome to come along and try a new sport that I’m sure you’re all gonna
love. It’s not hard to pick up (if I can do it…), it’s a great way of
representing the Uni at an energetic, enjoyable and socially active
sport – and there’ll be plenty of banter on and off the field! Another
thing – lads, girls…it’s a mixed sport! Got to be an advantage there
surely.
I’m proud of you guys, it’s gonna be a great year. Sign up now! You know it makes sense…
Much love,
Fordy (Chairman 07/08)
