Posters
We have ten poster boards situated in prime locations across campus. These are free to use for students who want to advertise their club, society, charity or event. However, students should first have their posters authorised by either the marketing department or reception before putting them up.

Due to the competition for space on the boards, posters should not be larger than A4 in size.
When putting up posters, students should also be aware of the following advertising rules:
. Posters should not be put up over the top of other people’s posters; any that are will be removed.
. Posters should be put up using pins or staples and not blu-tac.
. No event taking place on a Wednesday or Friday night may be advertised at the university because the Union’s own nights (Score and Guppy) are held at these times.
. If you are promoting any drinks offers, you must also advertise a non-alcoholic alternative.
If you have any further queries on poster displays, look over the FAQs and ‘Dos and Don’ts’ sections of the website and if you are still unsure on anything, ask the marketing department.
