How do I apply for a National Insurance number?
If you have a job on campus, come to JobLink where you can get a postal form to complete and send off. Just tell JobLink once you have your number.
If you have a job off campus then you need to call 08456000643 and make an appointment with them. They will tell you what you need to take with you.
How do I find a job?
Try the JobLink website, where we advertise all jobs as they come in. You can also try local recruitment agencies (AM Personnel, Select Appointments and Catering Services International advertise with us).
Can I sign up for work?
Although we don't have sign up lists, you can register (for free) for instant text messages for urgent requirements. Look on the home page for more information.
What does JobLink do?
We find and advertise temporary part time work opportunities for students (and full time in vacations), and we are a personnel service for students who have got a job on campus (this includes setting students up on the pay system to receive pay from the University).
