Finding your way round the City
With over 2000 years of history and global recognition as a World Heritage
City, Bath is a fantastic city to live in and explore.
Centred around an ancient 15th century Abbey and the original Roman Baths
(from which Bath derives its name), this small city boasts an impressive array
of shops, restaurants, bars, museums and parks.
The most important bits of information that we can give you are:
- The University of Bath bus route is serviced by bright orange bendy busses.
- The 18 bus route runs from Bath city centre to the University of Bath
(up Bathwick hill).
- The 418 bus route runs from Bath Spa University College, through Bath city centre,
to the University of Bath.
MAKE SURE YOU GET ON THE RIGHT BUS THAT IS GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!!
Apart from that, you can’t go wrong!
There is so much to find out about Bath, and to get you started we have organised
tours of the City during your first few days. Every Freshers’ Week Crew member knows
all the best places in Bath, and they are really looking forward to showing you and
your housemates around Bath.
