Student Support

Your one stop shop for support on campus is the AWARE Centre in the Students’ Union. The Students’ Union operates support services for all students on campus. The AWARE Centre can help you with any questions you may have about academic issues; problems with housing; support tackling personal, health or disability issues; looking for free legal advice or access to wider support services.

before you arrive

Throughout the year, the AWARE Centre will be running many AWAREness campaigns, covering subjects such as safe drinking, sexual health, personal safety, healthy eating and green living. Find out more at AWARE

The Students’ Union also operates an employment service. JobLink will help you find a job on or off campus and can give advice about tax and national insurance, as well as employment rights and much more information. To find a job through JobLink, you will need to have proof of your eligibility to work: you can check the acceptable forms of ID here

Academic Reps are students who represent everyone on their course and year at a departmental and University-wide level. This year, the Academic Reps will be elected via a new online system hosted by the Students Union. If you wish to become a Rep log on to BathStudent.com and nominate yourself by October 10th or vote for your favourite by the 17th October.

The University also operates some support services, such as the Student Money Service, an onsite International Office and a Graduate Office
