Beer Mat Round

This is the first chance to test how good your business ideas are. Simply find a Business Plan Competition beer mat in the Plug Bar or the Enterprise office, write your business idea on the back and post it in the box at either of those locations. You can enter as many beer mats as you like. The best entries will each win £5 at the competition launch. Deadline for submission is the 17th October 2007.

Round 1: Ideas

Give us your best business idea in 250 words online before the 29th November 2007 at www.bathbpc.co.uk and be in with a chance to win £25! Winners will be announced at the Speed Dating event where we’ll match up students with a business mentor to help them.

Round 2: Plan

Now it’s time to submit your written business plan - with one section done in a fun creative way. Remember you can enter without having taken part in the earlier rounds. Round 2 starts on the 6th of December 2007 and plans can be submitted until 22nd February 2008. Finalist will be announced at the evening networking reception on the 28th February 2008.

Round 3: Pitch

Finalists will have to pitch their idea to a judging panel and answer questions about their business plan. The final will take place on Thursday 13th March 2008 and the prize giving - of the £1000 cash prize – will be at the Business Plan Competition Winners’ Night immediately afterwards.
