Balls, Barriers and Bulldozers is a 40 minute documentary film made by Harriet Hoare, a camera operator, footballer, and editor from Bristol. The film follows players from the Easton Cowgirls and Republica Internationale football teams as they travelled to Palestine in October 2014.

With the support of Hebron International Resource Network (HIRN) the women made links with Palestinian communities in the West Bank, playing football in Hebron, Ramallah, and Bethlehem. Alongside the unique experience of playing football with a wide variety of women from across the West Bank, the team heard stories and witnessed some of the daily realities.

The film will raise awareness of the situation in the West Bank and how people's lives are being effected, as well as demonstrate the power of sport for connecting with people in very different places and with very different lives.

We would like to share our experience to raise awareness of what we saw and the people we met and will be happy to answer any questions you may have of our experience.
