Volunteering with Nightline
Nightline is a service run by student volunteers for students at the University of Bath. It is a confidential listening service which students can call or email during its opening hours (Wed-Sun 8pm-8am).
Students contact Nightline for a whole range of reasons, to find out a taxi number to be able to get home, to get information about the local NHS services or to talk through any worries such as homesickness, relationship problems or course worries. All Nightline volunteers are annonymous.
All students who volunteer with Nightline are given full training over the course of a weekend run by the Nightline committee (often existing members of Nightline who have decided to carry on volunteering for another year).
Nightline Volunteers are BUSU (Bath University Students' Union) Volunteers and as such come under the new BUSU Volunteer Policy available to view by clicking here>>>
If you would like to become a Nightline Volunteer please email aware@bath.ac.uk and AWARE will pass your interest onto the Nightline committee.
