During AWARE's Mental Health and Stress Relief campaign, AWARE volunteers collected your top tips on how you revise and destress.  Here's some of your suggestions:

 

  • Concentrate on chewing gum during lectures to stop you falling asleep
  • Take a break from your work
  • Have a long bath
  • Eat plenty to give you energy
  • Make sure you do all your research before and allow time for planning
  • Go to the gym and work out hard to release tension
  • Take a day of work once every week
  • Listen to music as a way to relax
  • Take long walks
  • Don't go on msn messenger/facebook
  • Talk to someone if you are feeling stressed
  • Drinks lots of water
  • Get enough sleep
  • Meet up with friends to relax
  • Revise in lots of different places
  • Take regular breaks away from study to refocus your mind
  • Work from past papers

 

Mitigating Circumstances
