How do I change my course?
Sometimes you may feel that your course is not what you want to do and this can happen at any time during your time at university.
However, these feelings can arise due to homesickness, separation from parents or partner, change of environment etc. If this is the case we are here for you to talk to and to help you talk through your options. It is also a good idea to talk to your personal tutor if you are able to.
However if you are sure that you are on the wrong course or at the wrong university then you should: -
- Contact AWARE - we can go through your options, advise you on the process of changing course or withdrawing and give you the latest details of financial implications.
If you are still in the first few weeks of your course and you are sure you want to change and know where you want to go:
- contact the new course and/or university AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE as you may be able to transfer directly.
If you are more than a few weeks into your course and want to change, things get complicated! Contact AWARE first to get the latest funding information.
