Previous cohorts of Academic Reps sitting on the Students' Union Academic Council told us that they felt it would be better if all Academic Reps from all departments were elected in the same way to ensure everyone had the same opportunity to become a Rep for their degree programme and year. The Reps asked the VP Education to come up with a way that this would be possible and, working with the University, the Academic Rep Online Elections were developed.
Nominations will be open online in week 2, 6th - 10th October. Any student is eligible to stand for election as an Academic Rep for their degree programme and year.
